LOVE STORY REMIX
While LOVE STORY MEETS VIVA LA VIDA continues to reach new audiecnes worldwide, now at nearly 3,000,000 hits, Coldplay still has yet to give permission to do anything with the tune beyond Youtube and concert performance. Jon Schmidt promised his audience a new album at the the Thankgsgiving Point concert so Jon and Steve went back into the studio (late at night) and shot an entirely new video of the "REMIX"--Love Story Meets Love Story. In it, the Viva La Vida section is replaced by a new ending that climaxes using the Love Story themes and motives.

Steven Sharp Nelson joined Peter Breinholt, Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband, Colors, Kurt Bestor, David Tolk, and host Sam Payne to celebrate Living for Eden, a benefit concert for their friend and fellow musician Paul Cardall while he awaits a heart transplant. It was a sell out crowd in the 3000 seat venue at Cottonwood High School. Thank you to everyone who support our friend during this difficult time.

AFRICA, Steven Sharp Nelson's most recent symphony recently received a presitigous national award. CLICK HERE to read more.
AFRICA was originally commissioned by the Orchestra of Southern Utah funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. Since it's premiere in February of 2009, it has been downloaded over 40 million times.

"When they first met, Marshall McDonald and Steven Sharp Nelson felt like they fell into the middle of a friendship.
They were both music majors at the University of Utah, and although they didn't have any classes together, they were involved in extracurricular musical activities.
"We had an immediate personal bond as well as a musical bond," says Nelson. "Music adds such sweetness to friendship. When we perform together, it's like we are both on a higher ground." McDonald plays the piano and Nelson the cello, so they can easily make beautiful music together."
